My life this week

My big sister is getting fucking married. FUCK YES SHE IS. so happy.
i just ate half a giant box of nerds. Then I discovered the magic of marshmallows dipped in Nutella.
My sister accidentally stole my laptop’s power cord. Confined to tablet. First world problem.
Yesterday I just read a whole book. It was the greatest thing. This semester was so awful that I didn’t even have time to finish one book. So I stayed up until three last night finishing a book that made me cry and cry (Sarah’s Key if you’re wondering) and I found the sweet relief of living a day in words and finding myself for a minute ejected out of my life for a shot at a better perspective.
Today I found an online anatomy class (http//www.anatomy-class.org) and registered because I’m THAT EXCITED to go to med school.
Oh, BY THE WAY, I GOT MY FIRST MED SCHOOL ACCEPTANCE.
ChristmaHanukkah shopping.

TOMORROW I BAKE.

Things Found in the Family Library

  1. Uppity Women of Ancient Times. “Uppity”. I frg’n love it.
  2. Zazoo. The book I adored but forgot but then found again. (Here and here.)
  3. The personalized book I received for my second birthday, before my name was changed to what it is now. What an awesome present.

I organized the children’s library for my mom this summer and it was just a treasure trove. We found each of our favorite books that our parents read us, and books that we wrote, and the first books we learned how to read, and so much more. Here’s a little snippet.
